Brad Bauer

Brad Bauer is Exploitation Manager for Merit Energy Company, a private firm committed to generating value for its Partners through the acquisition, operation, & development of oil & gas assets. Brad joined Merit in 2005 as an Operations Engineer, after graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Since that time, he has worked assets across Merit’s portfolio. His experience covers an array of producing oil & gas reservoirs, across many of the most prominent producing basins in the continental United States. Brad has worked fields in the Permian & mid-continent regions, the Rockies (Colorado, Wyoming, & North Dakota), & Michigan. For the past 10 years, Brad has focused on reservoir engineering & exploitation, specializing in the improvement of producing properties through development drilling, waterflooding, & other EOR techniques. In his current position, Brad oversees the multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing geologic & reservoir engineering support throughout Merit’s organization. Brad is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas.
